Optical Illusion Spirals

Students in grades 5 and 6 created these mesmerising and eye catching optical illusion spirals. The only materials they used were a piece of paper, a black marker and coloured pencils. Amazing! Students drew repetitive lines and pattens in a spiral shape and learned how to use colour pencils to create value in their work. The more detail and effort students put in, the more effective their spirals were. A time consuming but rewarding project!
